Some fun from breathtaken1
:

You Belong in 1965

1965

If you scored...

1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.

1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!

1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

Geez. I wasn't born until 1968. Now I'm feeling old.

*****************************************************

ARGH! High school. I did not heart high school. I am not a sheeple. But anyhoo...

T H E H I G H S C H O O L M E M E

What year was it?

1983-1986

What were your favorite bands or musical artists?

Hmmm. The B-52's, ELO, Duran Duran, Asia, the Police, the Scorpions, 60's music, and a lot of classical. I was (and am) pretty eclectic.

What was your favorite outfit?

Jeans, and whatever went with jeans. I had a couple of sweaters I liked because they were rather form-fitting, not that I had much of a form to fit.

What was up with your hair?

Short, then shoulder length, then REALLY bad perm, then quickly back to short.

Who were your best friends?

A group of girls who were in the grades above and below me. We were the oddballs because we didnt drink, smoke, do drugs, etc. When the older ones graduated, they simply vanished, through with the rest of us I thought...then I graduated, and the younger ones were fine without me too. I have to admit, it hurt. I miss them.

Where did you work?

I didnt. Spoiled rotten.

Did you fight with your parents?

Almost never. Seriously. I did, however, spend vast amounts of time fuming in my bedroom.

Whom did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?

*Nathan Lane. I loved his show One Of The Boys with *Dana Carvey and *Mickey Rooney. *Richard Dean Anderson in *MacGyver. The guy from *Tales Of The Gold Monkey who is now uberdad/uberpastor on *Seventh Heaven. *Simon MacCorkindale, remember *Manimal?

Did you smoke cigarettes?

Nope. Never have, never will.

Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack only because you were too nervous to find your locker?

Small private school...we didnt have lockers. We had long shelves above the hooks on the wall.

Did you have a 'clique'?

I guess you could call our group that, in an uncliquey sort of way.

Did you have "The Max" like Zach, Kelly, and Slater?

I am assuming thats some sort of hangout joint, like a burger place. Nope, we didnt.

Admit it, were you popular?

Absotively, posolutely not.

Whom did you want to be just like?

My friends Sallie and Nancy. I always thought they were seriously cool.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Something in the movie/tv industry, like a voice artist or foley artist or doing special effects. Or an astrophysicist.

Yeah, you see me there doing that, doncha?

It turned out better than expected, though. I got Hubby instead. Im contented.

OK, Im done, whos next?

last - next
